About the Event:
Session 1: Food For… Up to 10k
Have you ever thought about your diet and how it may be impacting your running?
In this session, we’ll focus on simple tweaks you can make to foods you eat and when you eat them to help you run faster for longer.
Session 2: Flexible Foot Workshop
Did you know that each foot is made up of 26 bones, 30 joints, and more than 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments?
The way your feet move affects your knees, hips, back, and more. In this session, we’ll go through some simple and effective foot mobility.
Session 3: Food for… Half-Marathon Plus
Do you consider what you’re eating before, during, and after your LONG training runs?
In this session, we’ll focus on the key nutrients required to maintain energy throughout your endurance runs, with an emphasis on what to eat, when to eat, and how much to eat.
Session 4: Pilates to Activate Your Core
Not sure what your core muscles are, or how to switch them on?
In this fourth session, you’ll learn some simple and very effective core strengthening, along with easy-to-do Pilates moves specifically for runners.
